Campaign contributions are not deductible for income tax purpose and are limited to no more than $5500 per election. Also,
due to a new campaign law, if you donate over $250 and have a project before the Board of Supervisors in a 12- month
period following the contribution—it may require the Supervisor to recuse from the vote. And, this includes other closely
associated persons or agents, if contributions aggregate.
